Who handles your request

Rewind Digital is a local media conversion service based in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire. To ask about your information, contact us through our Facebook page.

The details we collect

When you send an order request, we store your name, email address, optional phone number, town or village, media quantities, delivery preference, any notes, your consent, an order reference and the price estimate shown when available. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in the notes.

Why we use them

We use this information to assess your requested service, prepare a quote, contact you and manage the order. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing the contract if you proceed. We do not use your order details to send marketing messages.

Storage and access

Order requests are stored in the website’s hosted database. Access to order details is restricted to the authorised business account. Hosting and any configured email provider process information needed to provide those services. We keep enquiry information while responding to you and managing any resulting order, and review it for deletion when it is no longer needed.

Your recordings and photographs

No media is uploaded through this form. Handling, access, delivery and retention arrangements for your original media and digital files are confirmed directly before you hand them over.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete information you have shared, or object to processing where that right applies. Some information may need to be kept for an ongoing order or legal obligations. Contact us through our Facebook page to make a request. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies and analytics

We record daily totals of page views and order form starts, grouped by page and broad traffic source, to understand which content helps customers. These counters do not set cookies or store names, email addresses, full referring addresses or persistent visitor identifiers. Counts can include repeat visits and automated traffic. We do not load advertising trackers. Optional Google Analytics can measure page views, calculator starts and saved enquiries when it is configured and you accept analytics cookies. It stays off until you accept, and you can reject or withdraw through Cookie choices in the footer. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, order notes or order reference to Google Analytics. We exclude private dashboard pages and signed-in owner visits, remove query strings from measured page addresses and disable advertising features. Google processes the analytics information under its own privacy terms. Your choice is stored in your browser for up to six months. Hosting infrastructure may process technical access logs to deliver and protect the website. The owner’s order dashboard uses ChatGPT sign-in; customer order requests do not require an account. Facebook has its own privacy and cookie settings if you visit it.
